Christmas Day Morning Walk

I'm happy you stopped by !
I left an invitation for you to join Vic and me on our Christmas Day morning walk through our 'snow-covered' back yard!

I love the little snow caps on our fence posts.

This is looking out from my front door, and up at Thom Mt.

It snowed again early this morning, but by the time we started on our walk the blue sky was breaking through.

The mountains in the distance were beautiful.

The deer have been making their rounds to the houses in our complex where they can count on apple handouts.

Just checking out the reindeer ornaments, 'wanna take my picture' ?

"How do I look?"

A little stream still running.

The snow capped shrubs soo pretty with the sun shining on them.

Good thing Vic took his shovel... so that he could shovel off the 101 steps !
The snow laden branches against the blue sky are stunning.

So quiet...except for the crunch of the snow under our feet ! The mountain trail so beautiful .

Me in the knee deep snow with a final wave!! "Thanks for joining me !!"

How wonderful Julie. Isn't it beautiful? You have captured this very well. Thanks for the invite.
We drove up to Chilliwack Mtn today and captured many similiar shots.
This has been our best year ever having a white Christmas.

Oh, Julie, the snow is so pretty and your pictures are terrific! I really do miss the snow...I think Doc and I have decided that we'll spend next Christmas 'up north' in Kentucky. Christmas snows are rare there, but it has happened.

Thank you for taking us along on your walk! How appropriate that the word verification is 'grand.'

Thanks for the lovely walk in winter wonderland! Wasn't it the best snowy Christmas ever??? It was the white Christmas of my dreams. My adult children even built a snow cave in our front yard on Christmas day : )

Wasn't it a snowy, snowy Christmas? Thanks for the walk, I think I'll have myself another tiny slice of sweet potato pie now that I've burned off a few calories.
